Baroness Hotel

The Baroness Hotel

The comforts of home can make a difference when traveling, and the Baroness Hotel serves a special purpose as a hostelry with comfortable rates and studio or suite accommodations convenient to the local hospitals.

If you, or a family member, needs to spend time near one of the fine hospitals on what Seattleites call “Pill Hill” there are rooms that should suit your needs.  The studios have a queen bed and full bath, and also a small kitchenette and dining area.  There is also a larger studio with two queens, or two twin beds, and a kitchen and dining area.

If you may need a longer stay, there are also full suites with a separate bedroom and large closet, either one queen or one king, with large living rooms and a full size kitchen and dining area.

There is parking for a fee nearby, and guests will be able to park at the front while unloading baggage for check-in.

This area is convenient to I-5 and is within walking distance, a few blocks west, to downtown Seattle and the restaurants, nightlife, and shopping a major city offers.  Just east is Capitol Hill and it’s lively scene, with grocery stores, restaurants, and a lively nightlife with a hip vibe.

If you are looking for a downtown location with economical rates, which can be hard to find, the Baroness is a perfect blend of comfort and location. The hotel is in an historic building with echoes of its art deco origins, down to the light fixtures and wall sconces, with a lovely lobby/sitting/library area, perfect for relaxing or meeting guests.  Or imagine shopping at world famous Pike Place Market and serving your purchases for dinner that evening in your own room!

Virginia Mason, Swedish, and Harborview hospital are all close by and Seattle Cancer Care is just blocks away.  You are just a few blocks walk from local favorite Frye Art Museum, too.
Going north on I-5 you will exit at 164A, and southbound at exit 166, and you will be within a couple of minutes from the hotel, located at 1005 Spring Street.
