Rainier Wood Recyclers accepts many types of wood wastes, but there are some wood wastes that are unsuitable for recycling.

  • Painted wood: no wood with lead-based paint will be accepted. Painted wood that is not contaminated with lead is accepted.
  • Contamination: wood waste cannot include: plastics, cardboard, metals, pipes, cement fiber composites or similar non-wood materials. Wood also must not contained asbestos or other hazardous materials.
