Hobe Sound Conservancy

The Hobe Sound conservancy which is a part of the Blowing Rocks Preserve was established to preserve the local and indigenous flora including sea grapes, gumbo limbo, and Sabal palms. As a part of the Hobe Sound conservancy there is a native plant nursery, boardwalk, an educational center, a butterfly garden and an oceanside path.

This Hobe Sound conservancy was initially preserved by the locals until 1969 after which it was turned over to The Nature Conservancy. The Hobe Sound conservancy spans 73 acres with various habitats, hammocks and beach dunes.
