We worked with Fernando and his team for our ADU and main house reconstruction/remodel. Fernando was responsible throughout the process and helped us make smart decisions. He could figure out clever solutions and is clearly experienced in the field. He is also a really nice guy who cares about his workmanship. I was so impressed with him that I recommended him to my neighbors! After a careful review of estimates vs. expectations I decided to work with a “smaller” contractor – Ayuuk Construction. I should say that I’m more than happy with the quality of the build for my utility 5x8 deck with safety railing and steps on the steep concrete hill. Despite the quite difficult location for the structure, Javier quickly understood the scope of the work, asked the right questions to make sure the design meets my expectations and is up to the building code. In my case it was an important aspect as other candidates pushed me to inflate of the scope for the project, rather than listen to what I need. The structure was built pretty quickly and turned out to be looking very good. The results definitely exceeded my expectations (and eng-design drawings). The city inspector was happy with the structure as well. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend Ayuuk Construction to others.
