We hired Guy to do a number of projects. Initially we were looking to replace two sets of outside steps and replace an exterior door with a window. We agreed to do those for a firm bid. Guy worked with us to identify materials, managed the material purchases, and showed up when promised. His work was high quality and he took the time needed to do things right. Due to weather we ended up deferring the window install until spring, so we back-filled the time by hiring Guy to fix a pocket door, install shelving in a closet install some lattice work on our porch, and install wainscoting in our laundry room on a Time & Materials basis. He did those jobs in the same professional manner and we are very happy with the results. He adjusted to meet my wife’s desires without issue or complaint. All the while he respected our COVID concerns, communicated scheduling, questions, and material issues (due to COVID shortages) by text throughout so we could adjust as needed together. He was very personable. We’ll be picking up the window install in the spring and looking for other projects in between. He was not only a great contractor but became a new friend over the several weeks we worked together this summer/fall. Highly recommended.
