This then prevent further air flow and caused the pipe to freeze even more since it cannot collect heat from the indoor air. At some point the ice begins to thaw and that's the water we observed under the attic. Anyway, the technicians scheduled an appointment for the next day so that they can come and pump more refrigerant into the system. The next morning the technicians came and added more refrigerant into the system along with some sealant in hopes to auto-seal minor leaks in the pipe. After some tests, everything seemed to be working and, to my surprise, they charged me less than what they originally asked for. The reason for this was that the amount of refrigerant they needed to pump into the system was less than their original estimation and I really appreciate this kind of honesty. It's hard to come by.
